140 miles of California natural beauty, with lodgings, camping, bikes, horses and kayaks to rent for weekend breaks.

The San Diego Sea to Sea Trail

The San Diego Sea to Sea Trail is 140 miles of natural beauty, running from the Salton Sea near the Anza-Borrego Desert, to the Pacific Ocean near Del Mar, California. No where else in the world can you experience such a diverse range of geographical and environmental features in just 140 miles!

To see a map of the Trail once it’s fully complete, go to our current Trail Map. You may also like to see photos of views on or around the Trail. You can see these on our Vista Map.

Sections of the Trail are open now. We don’t yet have a detailed map (topo or otherwise) of the complete Trail, but if you would like a written outline of the Trail’s route, please click here.

And if you’d like to see a map of all the major trails around San Diego County, have a look at our Multi-Trails Map.

To find out what events the Trail and the Foundation have planned, go to our Trail Events page.

For those with Disabilities

Confined to a wheelchair perhaps and still want to experience the Trail for yourself? Don’t let us stop you! We have forged an alliance with Accessible San Diego and are committed to making as much of Trail as possible open to those adventurers with disabilities. We’ll keep you posted with progress.
